Storyist 2.2 Released—Adds ePub Support
Sunnyvale, CA—April 22, 2010 – Storyist Software, a developer of creative writing tools for Mac OS X, today announced the release of Storyist 2.2. This update to their popular story development tool for novelists and screenwriters adds several new features, including support for exporting to the ePub format.
"Storyist 2.2 makes it easy to create ePub," says Steve Shepard, CEO of Storyist Software. "Now writers can create an ePub-formatted version of their work for iBooks, Sony Reader, Nook, and other electronic reading systems that support the ePub standard."
Other new features in the release include:
- Sharing with Stanza for iPhone: Anyone with an iPhone, a local network, and the free Stanza for iPhone application can download manuscripts and screenplays from Storyist and read them on iPhone.
- 64-bit Support: Storyist now runs in 64-bit mode on Snow Leopard.
- New Automator Actions: New styled text actions convert paragraphs with leading tabs to first-line indents and back.
