Upgrading a Website Purchase

If you purchased an earlier version of Storyist from the Storyist website, you can get the upgrade price by clicking the "Upgrade for $29" button above and following the instructions. You'll receive a license via email that you can enter in the app.

You can also purchase the upgrade in the app as follows:

1. Download Storyist 4 from our website and install it.
2. Open the app. When the trial dial dialog appears, check the display below the "Buy" button. If a previous version of Storyist is installed on your computer, the discount may already be applied. If not, click the "Check for Discount" link and enter your Storyist 2 or Storyist 3 license information.
3. Click "Buy" and follow the instructions. Your license will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Note: If you purchased Storyist 3 from the Mac App Store, you'll need to get Storyist 4 from the Mac App Store too to receive the upgrade price.

Upgrading a Mac App Store Purchase

If you purchased Storyist 3 from the Mac App Store, you can get the upgrade price as follows:

1. Click the download button above to download Storyist 4 from the Mac App Store.
2. Open the app. When the trial dialog appears, click the Check for Discount link and locate the version of Storyist you purchased from the Mac App Store. Storyist 4 will verify the purchase and present the discounted price.
3. Click Buy and follow the instructions. Your license will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Note: If you purchased Storyist 3 from the Storyist website, you'll need to get Storyist 4 from the website too to receive the upgrade price.
